But with thousands of students affected, the district faced a logistical hurdle: how to quickly and equitably provide clear backpacks for every student in need.
Recognizing the urgency of the situation, Amy Jaeckel, Executive Director of Technology and Information at Green Bay Area Public Schools, reached out to JAR Systems, a long-standing and trusted partner of the district. Having worked together over the years to enhance classroom charging and device management, the relationship was built on mutual respect and shared commitment to supporting students and staff. In response, Axel Zimmerman, CEO of JAR Systems, immediately stepped forward with a generous $35,000 donation to fund the purchase of clear backpacks for the district’s students.

The donation covered approximately 6,100 clear backpacks as an extra layer of security—meeting the needs of Green Bay’s students.
