Elevate Air USB-C Open Charging Cart | Assembly

JAR Systems’ Elevate Air USB-C Open Charging Cart is an efficient and powerful solution for charging without AC adapters. Today, we will cover some simple steps to ensure your cart is assembled correctly and ready for charging.

Before beginning the Elevate Air assembly, determine the device size used in the cart. Note whether the device’s screen size is over 15 inches high or if the device’s screen size is under 15 inches. This will determine where the lower charging hub should be installed.

Check the box to ensure all the components and pieces have arrived in good condition. If there is any visible damage due to shipping, contact JAR Systems with the serial number on the back panel and images to report the issue.

Next, locate the hardware packet. The numbers and letters on the hardware packet are referenced throughout the instructions to identify which hardware or tool to use. It is necessary to only hand-tighten the hardware until the cart is fully assembled. Do not use power tools.

To assemble the frame, begin by placing the gray sidebars next to each other. Ensure that the white side panels are flush with the sidebars.

Locate the numbered shelves. Attach the shelf numbered 1-16 in the top position using the top holes on each side of the bracket. Ensure the numbers are facing the front of the cart. Use the H8 Torx key to attach the top shelf with the C3 screws.

Next, lay the cart on its back. Place the cart on a table or a piece of cardboard on the floor to ensure stability and that the paint does not get scratched. Next, locate the charging hub. Ensure the charging hub has cables facing the front with the Quick-Sense logo facing the bottom of the shelf. If the hub does not sit flush with the bottom of the shelf, ensure that the dividers are correctly installed.

Next, align the side panel holes with the holes in the charging hub by lifting each side of the hub slightly. Begin to insert the provided 4 C3 security screws. Carefully inserting and removing each screw before attaching it to the cart is sometimes necessary.

Next, attach the shelf numbered 17-32 in the bottom position using the top holes on each side of the bracket. Ensure the numbers are facing the front of the cart. Use the H8 Torx key to attach the top shelf with the C3 screws.

As stated in Step 1, the placement of the 2nd USB-C charging hub will be determined by the size of the devices. If the device’s screen size is over 15 inches high, the second USB-C charging hub must be placed underneath the lower shelf. If the device’s screen size is under 15 inches high, the second USB-C charging hub may be placed under the top charging hub. Installing the lower hub below the top hub provides top-down cabling for the bottom shelf. Place the 2nd hub in the determined location with the cables facing the front and the Quick-Sense logo facing the bottom of the lower shelf or facing the bottom of the top hub. Next, align the holes in the hub with the holes in the side panels and insert the C3 screws using the H8 Torx key.

Locate the casters. To begin, remove the protective covering from each caster. Attach the casters to the cart using the F6 flat washer, E5 spring washer, and D4 nut cap. Tighten the caster hardware with the J10 wrench to ensure proper assembly, then turn the cart upright to its proper position.

Next, attach the back panels to the gray sidebars using the H10 screws, A1 washers, and the I9 Torx key.

To complete the assembly of the Elevate Air USB-C Open Charging Cart, you will need the K11 socket wrench. Use the tool to attach the cable wrap bar. Locate the external power cable and plug it into the top hub. Next, use the short power cable to connect the two Quick-Sense Hubs.

Locate the metal dividers and begin to insert them into the shelves. Ensure that the dividers are securely locked in. Improperly installed dividers may cause the devices to shift positions.

To complete the assembly, tighten all the hardware. Now that the assembly is complete, the cart is ready for charging!
