The secret of the Blue BoxThe roll-fronted cabinet can immediately be used anywhere, is child's play to use and space-saving. The HP NetEducation Center is an entirely new educational concept. The system which is ready for operation at the press of a key opens new possibilities of varying and flexible learning and means a substantial progress for instructor and students. The complete package of notebooks, projector, laser printer and Wireless-Lan technology enables the user to play DVD's through the projector, to get an easy access on the teaching materials and to have the possibilities of wireless printing. The roll-fronted cabinet of the HP NetEducation Center is the first step to bring groundbreaking and easy to use technology into every classroom. The instructor notebook: The control unit of the mobile classroom. To show teaching material and websites, to play DVD's, to activate the projector and of course, from time to time, to control the screen contents of the students. The instructor notebook is the initial point of the HP NetEducation Center. The student notebooks: The ideal base for effective learning. The student notebooks transmit interactive contents to each student. Simply remove from the roll-fronted cabinet (with or without tablet) and start at once. The connection to the instructor notebook, to the internet or to the laser printer - everything is possible completely without cables. After class they can be returned to the box and easily be charged for the next lesson at once with a press of a button. HP LaserJet 2300N: Every notebook from inside the NetEcucation Center can easily send documents, websites and more for printing via wireless lan technology and this even from 100 feets away. The HP Laser Jet will print them all in outstanding speed and quality. Ready to be used by the students in a matter of seconds. No need for cables or any knowledge of how to set up a printer. Easy and reliable for teachers and students to use. Digital Projector HP VP6120: Everything in the right light. Whether pictures, graphics, instructional films or internet sites, with its shiny colors and the pin sharp digital representation, the optional digital projector grants a great presentation of all teaching material. Usage is limited only by the imagination of teachers and students. Wireless Access Point 420wl: Base station for wireless communication between all units in the NetEducation Center. The access point is the basic unit for wireless communication and connects all notebooks to each other and to the printer without cable jam. The range can be up to 500feet, so students can be send off in groups and even work outside from time to time.

Wireless communication in the mobile classroomThe HP NetEducation Center consists of one multi-tasking roll-fronted cabinet which is equipped with a complete notebook network. The basic configuration of the cabinet is 1 teacher notebook and 6 student notebooks (can be expanded to at most 20 student notebooks), one HP Laser printer, one optional HP projector and the Wireless-Lan-Network management. All units are already connected to each other by Wireless Lan. Power supply can be obtained for the whole system including all notebooks by only one cable. By pressing a single button you have the possibiliy to activate the HP NetEducation Center, including internet access, printer and all other functions. The students' notebooks are placed on removable tablets with integrated power pack and can be activated either by accumulator without tablet or by external power supply with tablet. After class, the students put their notebooks back and connect them with the power supply of the roll-fronted cabinet for automatic charging. In the network the teacher's notebook can play the role of the server and the network administrator e.g. enabling internet access and the possibility of controlling the content of each student's screen individually. In addition the teacher's notebook can be used to control the projector, e.g. to play a DVD, to instruct students on how to use websites or to demonstrate teaching material.
